Stone Restoration
When it comes to repair to stone buildings it is imperative that the correct materials are used to ensure works can be carried out as sympathetically as possible. Only necessary repairs should be carried out in order to retain as much of the original façade.
Stone Indents
Defective stone is squared up and replaced with a new piece made to precisely the same size. This is secured into place using stainless steel dowels that are chemically anchored.
Stone Mortar Repair
Special restoration mortar mixes are used to imitate natural stone indents. This is undertaken in situ meaning minimal disruption to the structure.
Stone Replacement
Whole units of defective stone are carefully cut out and replaced with new stone.
Stone Pointing
Defective pointing is carefully removed and replaced using special restoration mixes relevant to the stone.
