50 St James Street

c1827. 50 St James’s Street is a grade II listed house. It was built in 1827, and designed by the architects Benjamin Wyatt and Philip Wyatt, as Crockford’s, a gentleman’s club. It was altered from 1870–75 by C. J. Phipps.
Scope of Work
Williams Restoration undertook the restoration and conservation of the frontal façade. This included undertaking a full façade clean with our specialist ThermaTech modular cleaning system. A system created with the environment in mind. Energy efficiency, water consumption and its low emissions makes it one of the leading resources for a environmentally friendly company to have. Williams Restoration also carried out stone repairs using a pre-mixed, Lime based, portland stone mortar and stone indents to suit.
